FACT

What are PelliTec Blister Pads?

PelliTec Blister Pads were inspired by Lenny Waters, a boxer, and his friend Karl Ormond, who sought a better blister prevention solution. The pads feature a unique six-component design with a gel/Mylar plastic core that moves with the foot, reducing friction and absorbing shear forces. The circular shape allows easy placement in different footwear, and a resilient top layer by Baltex enhances moisture-wicking capabilities.

DESIGN

Six Components

Not one, not two, but 6 component layers! PelliTec Blister Pads use a gel/Mylar plastic sandwich that moves with the foot, reducing friction and absorbing shear to prevent blisters. The six-component design includes a circular shape for versatile placement in footwear, and a top layer collaboratively designed with Baltex to provide cushioning and moisture-wicking properties without causing friction issues. This unique technology ensures effective blister prevention and enhanced foot comfort, making PelliTec Blister Pads a valuable solution recommended by podiatrists for active patients.

SUITABILITY

Remarkable Endurance

PelliTec Blister Pads have demonstrated remarkable endurance through sweaty and wet conditions, even during intense physical activities such as trail running in diverse terrains, including deep puddles. It is worth noting that while these pads are highly versatile and suitable for a wide range of activities, they need to be firmly adhered to clean and dry surfaces.

THE PELLITEC DIFFERENCE

PelliTec versus ENGO

PelliTec Blister Pads and Engo Patches are both effective blister prevention products, but they differ in application. PelliTec Pads are circular cushioning pads containing a gel/Mylar plastic sandwich, stuck inside footwear to reduce friction and absorb shear. Engo Patches, on the other hand, are thin, low-friction patches applied to the shoe or orthotic to reduce friction between the sock and footwear. Each product offers unique benefits for blister prevention, depending on individual preferences and needs.
